As an editor and writer, I cover travel, culture, human interest, shelter, lifestyle and parenting stories. I’ve profiled social entrepreneurs and their inspiring stories; obsessed over Japanese style guesthouses in the U.S. so now you can too; explored a small summer island off the coast of Massachusetts; and mapped out travel guides from the Catskills to Cartagena.

As a creative director in marketing and advertising roles, I've directed branding initiatives, created style guides, shaped tone and voice, and conceived and written campaigns with newsletter and social media components. As a copywriter, I've penned everything from web content to print ads to television commercials (badge of honor: a spot I wrote was parodied on Saturday Night Live).

Created editorial strategy, wrote, and edited content across all sites for North and South American hotels. Responsible for marketing campaigns, hotel profiles, special landing pages, blog, and social media. Spearheaded and launched a regional Tumblr. Wrote and edited contributing content and press features for blogs and partner publications. Hired, managed, and edited work from freelancers for contract projects and anonymous hotel reviews. Partnered with marketing team to grow membership and expand North American exposure.
